The form asks what your school asks
Add your own fields — B-Form number, previous school, a sibling already enrolled. Seven field types, and you decide which are required.
Applications arrive filtered by class
Open the class you are recruiting for and read only those applicants, with every answer they gave attached.
The guardian arrives with the child
Name, mobile and email come in with the application and stay attached to the student, so nobody hunts for a number later.
Accepting enrols them, once
The accepted applicant becomes a student record with the class and section you pick. Nothing is retyped.
The problem
The enquiry arrives. Then it disappears.
In admission season a school takes more enquiries than anyone can hold in their head. They come by phone, at the gate, and in a group chat with four staff in it.
How it works
Four steps, from first enquiry to first day.
The fields you add to the admission form show up in both places — on your school’s website and on the student record your office fills in at the counter.
Build the form you actually use
Add your own fields to the admission form — previous school, B-Form number, a sibling already enrolled. Text, dropdown, radio, checkbox, long answer or file upload, and you decide which ones are required.
Put it on your school website
The same form goes live on your own site. A parent fills it on Sunday night; on Monday it is in your admission enquiries list, with the guardian’s name, mobile and email attached.
Work the list, class by class
Filter the enquiries by the class applied for. Open one, read every answer including your own fields, then accept it — the child moves into your student register with the class and section you pick.
Enrol without re-typing anything
An accepted applicant becomes a student record with the class and section assigned and the guardian linked. Accepting emails the guardian their login details and rejecting sends the family a notice, both automatically. You still activate the student yourself, so nobody lands on a register by accident.
Every Skooly school gets a real website of its own, and the admission form on it is wired to the enquiry list. Your name on the page, your fields on the form, and nothing copied by hand between the two.
What you get
Everything the admission season asks of you.
There is no online application fee. An applicant is not a student yet, so there is no fee account to charge against — take the form fee at the office or by bank transfer, and record it against the student once the admission is confirmed.
There is no merit list and no entry-test scoring either. Skooly captures, tracks and converts an enquiry. Ranking the applicants stays a decision a person makes.
Permissions
Who works the queue.
Roles are per school and permissions are per module, so the front desk can work the enquiry list without seeing a single fee record.
Owner / principal
Every application, every class, the intake count for the session.
Admissions officer
The applications list and every answer, without a single fee record.
Class teacher
Their own class list, once the child is actually enrolled.
Parent / applicant
The public form. Their own record after enrolment.

Questions
Common questions
Most of our enquiries come by phone. Does this still help?
Partly, and it is worth being exact. The enquiry list holds applications submitted through your website. A phone enquiry is entered by your office as a student record directly, so it does not land in that list — the two routes share your custom fields but not one queue. If most of your intake arrives by phone, the online form is the part to grow.
Can parents apply from our website?
Yes, and it is the strongest part of this. Every Skooly school gets its own school website, and the admission form on it feeds the enquiry list directly. The fields you add to the form appear on the public page and on the application you read later.
Can a parent pay the admission or form fee online when they apply?
No. An applicant is not a student yet, so there is no fee account to charge against. Take the form fee at the office or by bank transfer, and record it against the student once the admission is confirmed and the record exists.
Does Skooly rank applicants or run an entry test?
No. There is no merit list and no test scoring. Skooly holds every application, every answer and every decision in one place, and your committee decides who gets the seat.
We have 400 students in a paper register. Do we type them all in?
No. Students upload from a CSV in one go, and their photographs upload as a second batch. We do the first import with you so the columns line up before anything is loaded.
What happens at the end of the session?
You promote a class to the next year in one action, so this year’s Class 5 becomes next year’s Class 6 with the records intact. Moving a child between sections during the year — 5-A to 5-B — is a transfer, and their roll number is reissued in the new section. One thing to know: a transfer clears that child’s subject selections, so reassign their electives in the new section.
Put your admission form where parents already are.
Send us the form you hand out at the gate. We’ll build it in Skooly, put it on your school’s website, and show you the enquiry list it feeds.
